AWS Certified Welding Inspector

We are seeking an AWS Certified Welding Inspector to perform fabrication inspection in the Finksburg, MD area beginning at the end of April.
Valid AWS CWI certificate
Demonstrated experience performing inspection to AWS D1.1, experience with D1.5 is a plus
Must be located within reasonable distance to Finksburg, MD
Access and ability to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel, the internet, and email
Valid driver's license
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Authorized to work in the United States, sponsorship not available
Physical Requirements:
Physical activity includes: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time
Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
