The Field Manager is responsible for exceeding customer expectations by effective management of the human resources appropriated to the position.
The position ensures the performance of BJL, Inc.
quality standards and the management of all resources to achieve confidence and exceptional service for our clients by directly supervising the performance of multiple work crews through the work day.

Customer Service Standards Establish role as supervisor's primary, responsible, point-of-contact Instill supervisor's confidence Foster the performance of exceptional service among team members Mentor Supervisors in building long-term crews work relationships and fostering a training environment Provide assurance that contract obligations, quality standards and expectations are fulfilled Provide support to team members in performing and completing all client projects - we are the experts, they are seeking our advice 2 .
Develop and Maintain Strong Crew Teams Evaluate team strengths and limitations, augment as appropriate Ensure proper development of Supervisors and client relationships - ensure relationship is successful and fosters trust Mentor Supervisors and crew team members to ensure effective implementation of BJL, Inc.
quality standards Actively participate in team members performance evaluation and personnel development strategies Identify team members with potential for growth/career path Foster a cohesive team of production staff to ensure quick response to division manager and customer's requests Support timely and accurate implementation of procedures and paperwork Develop a high-quality production team through leadership and hands-on working and training of crew.
Demonstrate strong work ethic through leading by example.
Schedule, coordinate and supervise projects assigned to his crews, ensuring production quality and budget control 3.
Collaborate with the Management Team to Maximize Efficiencies Plan and execute staffing and scheduling as a team with the Account Manager to make sure that all resources - people, equipment, supplies - are used to their maximum potential and shared to the benefit of all crew teams and clients.

Responsibilities:
I.
Management of Accounts Must possess in-depth knowledge of horticultural and landscape maintenance practices.
Must be able to manage all production aspects of Commercial field operations including training and quality control, field management for both landscape maintenance and snow operations, and maintaining strong customer relations.
Must possess excellent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish.
Must possess knowledge of computer skills including use of Excel and BJL, Inc's proprietary software.
Through management of crew, equipment, and materials must help production manager to meet revenue, productivity and renewal goals.
Must inspire top performance from supervisors and crewmembers through attentive management and effective communications.
Must be able to independently accomplish tasks.
Typical week schedule is Monday through Friday and must be available to work on an as-needed basis as required by seasonal workload.
(Extra hours per day and/or on weekends).
Must be available to participate in snow removal activities.
Must be able to operate equipment and perform physical tasks required by projects i.
e.
ability to lift 50 lbs.
; ability to work outdoors.
Must possess a valid driver's license for the state of residence with a safe driving record.

Personnel Prepare and implement staff plan; revise as needed based on needs and budget Participate in hiring and developing maintenance team Maintain standards of performance and initiate periodic evaluations Represent company in professional groups/associations for recruitment Maintain active contact with people and trends in the industry Work environment Majority of time to be spent on job sites with daily visits to BJL, Inc.
office to start and finish crews; turn in receipts and daily paperwork.
As requested, must be available for corporate meetings at BJL, Inc.
offices.
Performance Reviews will be conducted frequently in order to fine tune crew operations.
