Furr is starting an eight-week long, fully-paid Plumbing Apprentice program on July 31st, 2023, at the Furr Academy, which is located at our headquarters in Manassas, VA.
This program has limited capacity.
This program is designed to create an entry-level Plumbing Service Technician after the completion of training.
The trainees, upon completion of the class will report to the F.
H.
Furr Finksburg, MD location.
While in training - a combination of classroom training as well as on-the-job (ride-along) training, apprentices will be paid $600 per week.
The first full year of work after training should see an achievable compensation range from $50,000 to $70,000.

Our training class will introduce you to the Plumbing field and provide you with hands-on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training.

High School diploma (or GED) Must be mechanically inclined Ability to work independently, maintain a can do attitude and be a team player Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction Effectively communicate issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers Attention to detail, demonstrate speed, accuracy in the completion of tasks Meet all attendance and dependability requirements Must have a good driving record - a company vehicle will be provided before training is completed F.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
