The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of the estimating process.
The Estimator will be responsible for researching and analyzing data, developing cost estimates, preparing bids, and presenting proposals to clients.
Responsibilities:
Estimate costs of projects based on labor, materials, equipment, hauling, and disposal.
Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine the demolition scope of work.
Review invitations to bid with management, and maintain updated bid schedule.
Track previously submitted project proposals, and maintain updated proposal log.
Provide change order pricing for awarded projects.
Prepare bids and proposals for projects.
Analyze subcontractor bids and recommend subcontractors for specific projects.
The successful applicant must be well organized, efficent, and have a general understanding of commercial construction and associated bid documents.
Some experience in demolition estimating is preffered, but not required.
Pay and benefits are based on experience.
